The professor of pediatrics at Brown University in Rhode Island, Martin Keszler, delivered this presentation on NIPPV as part of a non-invasive masterclass series at NeoHeart 2020.

In addition to his talk on NIPPV, Keszler featured in a masterclass discussion which reviewed the evidence for the use of the modes of non-invasive ventilation of the newborn. Nasal high flow (NHF) and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) were also examined in the series.

The global virtual conference was run by the Neonatal Heart Society in partnership with the NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital and Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
