Advances in Optiflow

Optiflow offers the ability to comfortably deliver a complete range of oxygen concentrations and flows to extend the traditional boundaries of oxygen therapy.

This is achieved through the integration of heated humidification and a precise blend of air and oxygen delivered via an innovative nasal cannula.

Two of the key elements that make this possible are Humidification and Flow.  Humidification provides better tolerance and mucociliary clearance whilst flow drives accurate delivery of oxygen, washout of anatomical deadspace and provision of low level positive airway pressure.

Clinical data now demonstrates that Optiflow is more effective than traditional oxygen delivery devices.  Optiflow results in:

Critical to Optiflow is the delivery of Optimal Humidity. Without it, the comfortable delivery of high flows directly into the nares would be impossible.
