Webinar Privacy Policy

Depending on how you choose to complete this form, we will use the personal information you provide (“PI”) to enable you to access the webinar, to invite you to future webinars and/or communicate with you about Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s products, services and offers. Our use of your PI for these purposes is based on your consent. We will only retain your PI for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose we collected it for, or as otherwise permitted by law. To assess the appropriate retention period, we consider factors including the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal information and whether we can achieve the purposes of the processing through other means.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to 1) at any time withdraw your consent to the processing of your PI (this will not affect the lawfulness of previous processing), 2) access your PI, 3) have the PI we hold about you corrected or updated if it is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate, 4) have your PI deleted or its use restricted, 5) object to the use of your PI and/or 6) receive, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, the PI that you have provided to us, and to transmit it to a third party.  If you wish to exercise any of these rights (to the extent applicable), please contact us at privacy@fphcare.com and provide a copy of your valid ID document (valid national ID card, driver’s license or passport) with your request. We will comply with your request as soon as reasonably possible in compliance with applicable law. If you believe that your privacy or rights have been breached, you have the right to lay a complaint with a privacy regulator. Depending on the context, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Limited (New Zealand) and/or other Fisher & Paykel Healthcare entities will be the Data Controller in respect of your PI. For full contact details of the Fisher & Paykel Healthcare entities or our representative in your country, please visit https://www.fphcare.com/our-company/contact-us/offices/. If you have any questions or concerns about privacy matters, please contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@fphcare.com.

If you live in the European Union, please note that we will disclose your PI to our staff in New Zealand and to staff of other EU entities in our group, in each case for the above purposes. New Zealand has been recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. Please note that we may also share your PI with third party service providers to help us achieve the purposes outlined above. This may include providers of remote conferencing services and email marketing services. We conduct an appropriate level of due diligence and put in place contractual arrangements with those providers to ensure they process personal information appropriately and in accordance with applicable law. If our providers process personal information outside the European Economic Area in the course of providing services to us, our contractual arrangements will ensure there is an adequate basis for that transfer.
