We understand that in the course of improving patient outcomes, we also have
a responsibility to operate our business efficiently and responsibly, caring for
the natural environment.
Our approach
While improving patient care and outcomes, we seek to validate and verify our environmental performance, comply with laws and regulations relating to environmental responsibility and operate in a way that contributes to a lasting positive impact on the environment, enabling a more sustainable future.
We measure and publicly report on key environmental metrics including waste management, recycling and water usage.

Environmental Management
Our manufacturing sites are certified to ISO 14001, the international environmental management standard.
We are audited annually against ISO 14001 and certified tri-annually by the Swiss-based European notified body, Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS).
Environmental Metrics
Reporting on key metrics allows us to track and assess our progress towards our environmental performance.

Greenhouse Gas Emissions
We have been measuring our greenhouse gas emissions since 2012. Over this time, we have improved our measurement processes and subsequent assurance of our carbon footprint. We have progressively expanded the geographical boundary of our footprint and the scope of emissions sources.
