Comparison of Mucus Clearance At 100% and 90% Humidity
The effect of reduced humidity at constant temperature on mucus clearance is demonstrated in this video using two trachea In Vitro experiments. In the first experiment air is fully saturated with water at body temperature. In the second experiment epithelium is exposed to airflow with 90% humidity.
