minutesThe professor of pediatrics at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, Richard Polin, delivered a presentation on CPAP at NeoHeart 2020.
The global virtual conference was run by the Neonatal Heart Society in partnership with the NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital and Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Polin’s presentation is one of four webinars that make up a series examining the three modes of non-invasive ventilation of the newborn.
As part of the series, professors Brad Yoder and Martin Keszler spoke on nasal high flow (NHF) and nasal intermittent positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV), respectively. The three neonatology leaders also took part in a masterclass discussion about non-invasive ventilation of newborns.
