Our intention is to create a lasting positive impact on society and the environment. We recognise that in the course of pursuing our business goals we also have a responsibility to care for the natural environment.  


Climate change is a growing concern among our customers, investors, and our own people. As well as emerging environmental legislation in countries where we manufacture and sell our products. In response, we are committed to continuously improve in this area.

Our approach

Our approach is to operate our business in a resilient, efficient and responsible manner while improving care and outcomes for patients. We seek to validate and verify our environmental performance, comply with laws and regulations relating to environmental responsibility and operate in a way that contributes to a lasting positive impact on the environment, enabling a more sustainable future. 

We measure and publicly report on key environmental metrics including waste management, recycling and water usage.

Environmental Management

Our manufacturing sites are certified to ISO 14001, the international environmental management standard. We are audited annually against ISO 14001 and certified tri-annually by the Swiss-based European notified body, Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS).

Greenhouse Gas Emissions

We have been measuring our greenhouse gas emissions since 2012. Over this time, we have improved our measurement processes and subsequent assurance of our carbon footprint. We have progressively expanded the geographical boundary of our footprint and the scope of emissions sources.
