- This 4 minute video was created to help healthcare workers protect themselves from patients with infectious respiratory diseases.
- We show the directionality and shape of potentially infectious respiratory plumes, alongside the bio-aerosol count, in the range of 0.5 to 25 um.
- Bio-aerosol generation data was taken from Wilson et al 2021; the respiratory plume videos were filmed at Middlemore Hospital, New Zealand, using a specialized camera that visualizes exhaled CO2.
