How the 2G and 3G shutdowns affect F&P SleepStyle device wireless data transfer
F&P SleepStyle devices' inbuilt 3G cellular modem will no longer wirelessly upload patient sleep data to the F&P InfoSmart™ Web. The change does not affect F&P SleepStyle device's ability to deliver therapy or the quality of therapy provided. However, you and your patients can still upload and access sleep data using other convenient methods.
Alternative ways to upload data to F&P InfoSmart Web
Therapy data from the F&P SleepStyle device can be uploaded to F&P InfoSmart Web via the F&P SleepStyle App or F&P InfoUSB™. These easy and convenient ways are outlined in the data transfer alternatives document. You can also refer to section “5.2.1 SleepStyle website” of the F&P SleepStyle Use & Care Manual.
How to tell the difference between F&P SleepStyle devices with 3G or 4G connectivity
In anticipation of the 3G network shutdown, F&P Healthcare transitioned new F&P SleepStyle devices to 4G modem capability from December 2022. You will know if an F&P SleepStyle device has 4G modem capability if the batch number and starting serial number exceeds the following:
Batch number: 2102463764 | Starting serial number: 22122NK8N
For further information, please contact your F&P Healthcare sales representative who will be able to assist you or refer to the documents below on alternative options for data transfer.
Cellular services are dependent on network availability in New Zealand, which may change at anytime.
